What is a faith-based mental health coach?
A faith-based mental health coach helps you feel better by using both Biblical teachings and practical tools. I help you work through feelings of stress, worry, or confusion, using Christian values to guide you toward healing and growth.
How is coaching different from therapy or counseling?
Therapy focuses on fixing mental health problems from the past. Coaching helps you grow and move forward by setting goals and finding solutions for the future. I use Christian faith to guide you, while therapy focuses on emotional healing. You can do both if needed!
What happens during a coaching session?
In each session, we’ll talk about what’s going on in your life and focus on ways to help you grow. I’ll help you find solutions using scripture, prayer, and Christian wisdom. You’ll leave with things to do that will help you feel better and grow stronger.
Do I need to be a Christian to work with you?
You don’t have to be a super strong Christian to work with me, but you should be open to faith and willing to learn from the Bible. If you’re not comfortable with a faith-based approach, this coaching might not be the best fit for you.
How do I know if this coaching is right for me?
